Clear
People should immediately understand where they are, what they can do and what happens next.
Langopashtana Digital Service
The common identity, interface language and accessibility standard for public services across the Kingdom of Langopashtana.
01 — Purpose
LDS is the master digital identity of government. A ministry, chapter, parliament, regulator or statutory body may retain its own institutional mark, but every service must remain visibly and functionally part of the same trusted system.
People should immediately understand where they are, what they can do and what happens next.
Write with dignity and respect. Explain problems without blame, and never make people feel foolish.
Accessibility is a defining feature of the identity, not a final compliance exercise.
Common patterns reduce uncertainty when people move between unrelated public services.
Show ownership, status, security, publication references and contact routes plainly.
Use colour, typography and heraldry with restraint. Authority comes from clarity, not ornament.
02 — Typography
Use Inter for all interface, publication and transactional content. Its open forms remain legible at small sizes while its heavier weights give official headings clarity and confidence.
Public service
without friction.
Apply for a chapter travel permit
Use plain, direct language. Place the most important information first and keep paragraphs short enough to scan comfortably on a narrow screen.
03 — Colour
Most pages should be white, navy, ink and pale grey. Civic red and warm yellow provide the distinctive LDS character; government green communicates positive or operational states.
#102A43Master mastheads, footers and institutional grounding.
#A5282COfficial accents, rules, constitutional emphasis and urgent identity.
#F4CF46Highlights, focus states, selected banners and visual warmth.
#18794ECompletion, verification, operational status and environmental data.
#005EA8Links, primary controls and interactive emphasis.
#1B2733Primary body copy. Prefer this to pure black.
#F4F6F8Quiet section separation and secondary surfaces.
#FFFFFFThe principal canvas. Use space, not shadow, to create hierarchy.
LDS surfaces are separated by spacing, borders, colour fields and typographic hierarchy. Drop shadows should not be used for ordinary cards, navigation or forms.
04 — Brand architecture
The LDS logo is mandatory and prominent on every page. Where an organisation has its own mark, both identities appear. The organisational mark must not displace or visually overpower the LDS master brand.
National ministry
Official information and public services
Crown Dominion legislature
Delivered to LDS accessibility and security standards
Built and maintained to Langopashtana Digital Service standards. This wording should appear alongside the LDS logo, institutional ownership, accessibility, privacy, service status and publication reference.
05 — Components
Controls should feel substantial without becoming oversized. Strong borders, visible labels and obvious focus states matter more than visual novelty.
Use one primary action per decision area.
State text must remain understandable without colour.
For example, LCS-2026-04182.
Say what happened, how to correct it and whether the person's information has been kept safely.

06 — Icons and motion
Use Lucide for the common icon language. Lucide Animated may be used when movement confirms a deliberate interaction or change of state, such as saving, downloading, uploading, opening or completing.
Move a pointer over an icon, or focus it with the keyboard, to see its built-in Lucide Animated motion.
Animations must be short, user-triggered and non-essential. They must respect prefers-reduced-motion. Never run decorative icon loops in navigation, alerts or form controls.
07 — Accessibility and trust
All LDS pages should meet WCAG 2.2 AA as a minimum. The visual identity depends on readable type, strong contrast, keyboard access, visible focus, plain language and predictable structure.
Every interactive element must be reached, understood and operated without a pointer.
The civic-yellow focus treatment is a recognisable LDS interaction pattern.
Status, error and success states always include text and, where useful, an icon.
Provide meaningful alternative text for informative images and empty alt text for decoration.
Reduced-motion, text zoom and high-contrast settings must not break the service.
Display the responsible body, publication date, reference, service status and contact route.
08 — Official asset register
Use these hosted SVG files directly or mirror them through an approved government asset pipeline. Do not redraw, recolour, stretch or add effects to an official mark.
